Double Evangelines

This is a pattern from Magknits called Evangeline. It's just like my basic wristwarmer with thumb, but I wanted a bigger, more complicated cable than my same old, same old.
Pattern: Evangeline by Michelle Szeghalmi
Yarn: Handspun by Seiding, Handdyed by Seiding and I; 30 grams???; from Hot Rainbow Dye class at Wisconsin Sheep & Wool festival, 2006
Needles: Yes
For: Work Barb
Pattern: Evangeline by Michelle Szeghalmi
Yarn: Bergere du Nord company, 100% silk; 26 grams???; from Webs
Needles: Size 5 US
For: Chiropractor's secretary, Cheri
Unfortunately the red circular thing at the bottom is a scissors. Why must I go through something like the above virtually everytime I knit something? Do I secretly enjoy it? Do I have fear of completion? I do think it makes an interesting picture. It shows movement and randomness--two of my favorite things. Be prepared for more yarn barf. Maybe I can have Tangled Thread Tuesday or Frogged Filament Friday.

Actual knitting content?

*faints*

Oh, lord, now I have to step up, don't I?

I think you have complications because we learn best through our mistakes and you love to learn!

Love that rosy color!

Frog happens, as they say. But you have two finished pairs, so something must have gone right.

Thanks for reminding me about this pattern. Looks like it was a fast knit.
